Planning a winter relaxation trip, but also enjoy skiing? Then Rubezahl Castle Hotel is the perfect place, because apart from baths, massages, mineral waters and other wellness therapies available, you’ll also have an excellent opportunity to go skiing.

The Mariánky Ski Complex is located on the north-eastern periphery of the town at a distance of about 500 meters from the hotel, and is, also, easily accessible using the nearby – only 100 meters away – cable car.

Ideal for beginners and competitive skiers   

If you only know Mariánské Lázně as a spa town full of parks, colonnades, pretty pavilions and leisurely strolls, you’ll be surprised by the rich variety of winter activities. The local golf course serves as the starting-point for the maintained cross-country skiing circuits; downhill skiers have their own patch and Hamelika lookout tower on the Slalomář and Krakonoška hillsides.

Mariánky ski complex

The ski complex has an elevation of 650-750m,1.6 km of pistes, features 3 tracks, 2 lifts and 1 cable car.

A cabin-lift transports skiers up Krakonoška and the entire complex is fitted with snow production systems.

Tracks are one blue and one red-black and can be covered by artificial snow if needed to ensure sufficient snow layer for skiers.

Conditions are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers who can even ski during the evenings in 2 x 300m illuminated tracks.

The ski center features snack bar, children’s park, rental shop for ski/snowboard equipment and a ski/snowboard training school, where children and adults can get training from professional trainers.

During the winter months there are also many sporting and social events, for example the ‘Ski open’ slalom race, open to the general public, and, at the end of March, the season-ending ‘Final Ski’, preparing the ski complex to give its place to bikers and cyclists until the next Winter season.
